Division 8 - Environmental Box Exchange Part 2
Our Buddy class in Fernie.B.C., sent the Division 8 hand made bird feeders to for the winter harvest. The students hung the bird feeders in the Rain Garden. We witnessed over time the seeds being scattered and crows enjoying their feast.
For the second exchange project, the students researched facts about all the Indigenous plants that are located in our Rain Garden. They created canvases to share with their buddy class in Fernie, B.C. and are very proud of their creations. Information posters of the project will be on display in the atrium of the school soon! Look out for them!
Division 13 & 14: Story Workshop
Kindergarten students got creative with loose parts to design themselves and a story about their family. Their personalities really shined through with the selection of loose parts they chose for their creations.

We have been learning about the Temperate rainforest, collecting pictures and samples of flora in our community, and writing letters to describe our learning to our buddies. The box was delivered to our buddy class the first week of November. We will receive our environmental box from our buddy class in December! Stay tuned for pictures!
